The Club now has over 400 members and runs popular racing series at two locations ( Largs and Inverkip ) and a series of weekend Passage Races to places throughout the Clyde.

Largs Sailing Club - L.S.C. is the base for the Scottish Sailing Institute, (S.S.I.) Largs, in association with RYA (Scotland) and Sport Scotland. Based at Largs Yacht Haven, the facility enables major sailing events to be staged, as well as improving sailing coaching and racing opportunities in the area

Royal Gourock Yacht Club - Royal Gourock Yacht Club was originally known as Gourock Sailing Club when it was founded in 1892. It had its name changed to the Gourock Yacht Club six years later, and in 1908 King Edward V11 was pleased to signify his pleasure that the club be known as Royal Gourock Yacht Club. The club has enjoyed its present location and clubhouse since 1902 when funds were donated for its building by James Coats of the famed thread making family many of whom were keen sailors.
