Line 7 introduces Venture Jacket

26 August 2008

Technical clothing brand Line 7 has introduced the new Venture Jacket to the UK market. The style, functions and versatility of the Venture Jacket are a result of an ingenious combination of clean-lines design and scientific application, which have resulted in a classic yet sporty look, and a breathable, waterproof and stretchy quality.

The lightweight yet protective everyday jacket can hold its own against the elements both on the dockside and around town.

Its special ‘feel’ is the result of a 3-layer polyester shell with 10% spandex, comprising a 2-way stretch ‘soft shell’ and a breathable membrane with polyester single jersey lamination against skin. The jacket is fully seam sealed and has a collar with packable adjustable seam-sealed waterproof hood with cord locks. For visibility there is 3M reflective piping on back and front yoke and sleeve panel.

The Venture jacket complements Line 7’s rugged foul weather gear and accessories, including the Inshore, Offshore and Ocean ranges. The iconic New Zealand company has clothed top-class sailors at events around the world for more than 40 years, including the America’s Cup, Whitbread and Volvo Ocean Races, Olympic Games and currently the World Match Racing Series. The Line 7 brand continues to be chosen by countless cruising yachtsmen and motor boaters too. Line 7 also hosts the clothing collection of the Sir Peter Blake Trust which benefits from sales proceeds.
