Footloose in the Grenadines

6 July 2006

Footloose Sailing Charters has announced the addition of St Vincent as a new base for its yacht charter operations in the lower Caribbean.

St Vincent is ideally located at the northern end of the chain of over 30 islands that make up the Grenadines, where sailors can enjoy exhilarating sailing in steady breezes, line-of-sight sailing and stunning palm-fringed beaches with excellent snorkelling.

Opening on 1st October, Footloose Sailing Charters will be located at the Lagoon Hotel and Marina on the southern tip of St. Vincent - a delightful, protected anchorage, perfectly positioned for a sail south and for trips around the island itself, including the famous Soufriere volcano, the Falls of Baleine or the lush Botanical Gardens.

The full service base offers a restaurant, hotel and bar, outdoor pool, supermarket, laundry service and fuel, ice and water.

Customers will be able to choose from a wide range of monohulls and catamarans, all outfitted for ease of sailing and comfort.
