1. Thousands of spectators and dozens of boats turn out to watch a fireworks display billed as the most spectacular ever at the Cowes Regatta Festival. Organisers say 120,000 people watched the spectacle on Friday evening from land and boats off the Isle of Wight. We were there! Skippering in the Sunsail class meant that we had passes for the marina, and while not the best seats it was pretty atmospheric to see the sun go down.
