Inchmarnock - approaching the anchoring area

1.   Inchmarnock is an island off the West of the Isle of Bute, south of the meeting point of the Kyles of Bute, the Sound of Bute, and Loch Fyne. It belonged anciently to the monastery of Saddel in Kintyre; and contains the site of a small chapel, which was dedicated to St Marnock.

When sailing from Largs to Tarbert Inchmarnock is about half way. On this particular trip we had a slight problem with one of the crew being sea sick. We nipped into the lee of Inchmarnock seeking shelter.
