Windy conditions at the start

1.   The Kroll/Pinsent Masons challenge was an informal affair. The aim was to take two teams from each of the companies and race from Inverkip to Rothesay and back. There would be no formal start, which was just as well as the Kroll lot were an hour late!

Windy conditions at the start

Pat was obviously prepared for cold weather, as she never took the hat off! There was a little tension in the air as we had light rain in the early stages, but fortunately it died away. A reef in the main and the number two genoa was the set up for upwind, which allowed us steady progress to Rothesay.
